The use of production automation at FINEX Extrusions is a pioneering project. It shows how modern robot technology can provide ideal support for well-trained expert staff in working procedures. FINEX is known for providing specialisation in made-to-fit, precision-customised aluminium solutions. Their core business lies in the specialised extrusion pressing of microprofiles. The company has deployed industrial robots since the end of 2019. Managing Director Jeroen van Bussel emphasises the fact that robots are there to complement the workforce, ease their workload and work hand-in-hand with staff to optimise procedures. Great praise is also due to those responsible at Manders Automation and KUKA who worked together on the project to tailor a perfect solution to FINEX's requirements. "Optimum service provision and training opportunities have further enhanced our confidence in robotic technologies", stated Jeroen van Bussel.
